Iconic singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is known for buying furniture for her friends’ houses because she just loves decorating. Aside from furnishing pals’ homes just because, she also likes to invite them to her Super Bowl Suite, and more crazy kind gestures.

As if everyone doesn’t want to be friends with Taylor Swift already, her gift-giving habits only add to the envy as the star previously revealed that she likes to surprise her friends by furnishing their homes.

Taylor Swift has always loved buying furniture

American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift currently has a staggering estimated net worth of $1.1 billion, based on analyses of her fortune by both Bloomberg and Forbes.

Based on her insane wealth, Swift can certainly afford to be generous to her friends, but it seems this has always been the case.

In a 2012 SiriusXM Town Hall fan Q&A, Taylor Swift explains her love for interior decorating and her habit of surprising friends with apartments full of new furniture.

When asked what she would do if she weren’t a music star, Swift revealed she’d probably be buying furniture, and admits she has furnished many of her friends’ homes because she enjoys the process of decorating.

Taylor explained: “I would have gone to college probably for business. And I might have ended up following my passion for shopping for furniture and been an interior decorator.”

The artist elaborates: “I’ve been known to, like, go into my friends’ apartments and fill it with furniture. And they get home and it’s like furnished. My friends, they don’t buy furniture, and I love buying furniture.

“And, you know, I just have such a blast with it that I think that might be something that I would love enough for a backup career. But I would never love anything as much as doing this.”

Taylor also invites friends into her stadium suite

Taylor Swift was around 23 years old when she admitted to furnishing her friends’ houses. The pop star is now age 34 (born on 13 December 1989) and still continues to treat her friends with incredible gifts.

Bloomberg reported Swift first achieved billionaire status in October 2023 when she released a re-recording of her nine-year-old album “1989.”

Travis Kelce and Taylor went public with their romance the month before and have made a handful of appearances together since, including many NFL games where she watches from a suite.

Suites are a private space for a small group of guests to enjoy the game together, and the Grammy-award-winning star kindly invites many of her friends to watch her partner play football.

Swift showed her support for Kelce at the Super Bowl last month and brought along people close to her including her parents, actress Blake Lively, singer Ice Spice and more.

Swifties sometimes even receive generous gifts from Taylor

The celebrity‘s wealth is powered by her legions of loyal fans, who spend money on all things Swift-related.

Tay-Tay makes it clear how grateful she is for her Swifties and has been known for connecting with fans in various ways such as engaging on social media, surprising them with personal gestures, and creating inclusive experiences.

When the coronavirus pandemic first began affecting people in the United States, Swift quietly donated thousands of dollars to several of her fans.

One fan tweeted Swift gifted her with $3,000 after seeing her messages about being under some financial and emotional strain. Her donation streak also includes donating $50k to her backup dancer’s 13-month-old nephew who was battling cancer, as reported by Elle in 2015.
