Suits actor Billy Miller tragically passed away on Friday at the age of 43. The actor, who played Marcus, the brother of head lawyer Harvey Specter, starred in five episodes alongside Markle, who played paralegal, Rachel Zane.

Before meeting her husband Prince Harry and joining the royal family, Meghan starred in the USA Network TV show from 2011 to 2017 where she played one of the main characters in the first seven of the show’s nine seasons.

Tributes pour in for Billy Miller

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, creator Aaron Korsh paid an emotional tribute to the star, who passed away in Austin Texas. His official cause of death has not yet been revealed. However, TMZ reports that the actor was struggling with manic depression at the time of his death.

“Very sad news for the entire #Suits family. Billy Miller has passed away. I flew home once with Billy. We had a great time, bonding over the five-hour flight, which seemed like it was over in minutes. A funny, smart, kind, gentle man,” Korsh wrote.

As well as starring in Suits, Miller had a successful soap career and got his start in soaps playing Richie Novak on All My Children in 2007. He then went on to star in The Young and The Restless as Billy Abbott for six years from 2008 to 2014.

Chrishell Stuase, who stars in Netflix‘s Selling Sunset, worked alongside the Emmy Award winner on All My Children, penned an emotional tribute to her co-star on her Instagram story.

Alongside a picture of Miller giving her a kiss on the cheek on the red carpet, the 42-year-old wrote:

“Still processing this. Too many feelings, but you are gone too soon and I’m so happy I got to work with you all those years, but also call you a friend. I hope you are at peace now.”

Meghan Markle is yet to speak on his tragic passing.

Meghan on her exit from Suits

After getting engaged to Prince Harry in 2017, Meghan stepped away from the TV show, and opened up about her exit during the couple’s first joint interview with the BBC, where she said she didn’t see it as ‘giving anything up.’

“I don’t see it as giving anything up. I just see it as a change. It’s a new chapter, right? And also, keep in mind, I’ve been working on [Suits] for seven years. We were very, very fortunate to have that sort of longevity on a series.”

“I’ve ticked this box, and I feel very proud of the work I’ve done there, and now it’s time to work with [Harry] as a team,” she said.
